The Gryphon GD4500 imager uses Datalogic's Motionix motion detection technology that detects the operator's natural actions to automatically switch to the scanner in the desired scan mode. This technology works with or without the use of a medium, offering both manual reading and presentation options.
Datalogic's reading technology with highly visible warm white lighting is easier for human eyes and reads colored labels much better. The highly visible 4-point viewfinder defines a precise reading zone and reduces accidental readings, while the center of the viewfinder provides a locator for targeted scanning in an environment with multiple barcodes.
The GD4500 image player is also available in a healthcare model with disinfectable and antimicrobial enclosures for healthcare applications.
