To enable Add-ons on DATALOGIC QUICKSCAN QM2400  series read following istructions

- Download guide followind this link and print page 105

- scan barcode ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE

- scan OPTIONAL ADD/ON ENABLE=P2

- scan OPTIONAL ADD/ON ENABLE=P5

- terminate scanning ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE

Now your barcode reader is able to read EAN 13 with Add-ons; you can find them on newspapers and magazines
