Printer cleaning

The parent company recommends cleaning the machine once a year, and in any case it is recommended to carry out more frequent cleaning cycles in case of intensive use or exposure to dusty environments.

Roller cleaning with the "T card"

The T card is a special card (you can buy it here) impregnated with a solvent dedicated to cleaning the rollers.

Proceed as follows:

• Remove the RIBBON
• Remove the cards from the tray
• Press two times the control button of the printer
• Insert the T card (it is important to open it only at this moment, the card has to be impregnated; if dry it can damage the printer)
• Wait until the end of the cleaning cycle
• Remove the card

Printhead cleaning

To clean the printhead you have to use the special cleaning pen, which you can buy here

Proceed as follows:

1. Remove the pen cap
2. Shutdown the printer and disconnect the power supply. Open the upper compartment
3. Pass the marker on the head lightly, without exerting too much pressure
4. Close the compartment cover
