To restore the factory configuration proceed as follows:

1. With the printer turned off pull one or both of the printer latches forward and lift the printer lid
2. Accendere la stampante.
3. For an icon printer: when the bottom row of icons turns off, press and hold the print button, and release it when the icon  icon begins flashing.
   For an LCD printer: when the startup progress bar is halfway across the screen,  press and hold the print button, and release it when the first screen of the Startup Wizard appears.
4. Close the printer lid; for an LCD printer, follow the instructions in the Startup Wizard.
