The batch configuration allows you to store a series of bar codes in memory when the device reads them outside the range of the base. When the connection between the reader and the base is restored, if the batch mode is automatic, the reader will automatically transmit the code to the base and therefore to the machine connected to it; if the batch mode will be manual, an additional barcode must be read for transmission.
To enable the batch configuration of the models belonging to the Datalogic QuickScan QD21x1 / QM21x1 / QBT21x1 family, download the manual found at the following link, print page 261 (271 of the pdf) and scan:

"Batch Mode = Automatic" to enable automatic batch mode.

"Batch Mode = Manual" to enable manual batch mode (the transmission code is "Send batch" which can be found on the same page, while on the next page it is possible to find the "Erase Batch Memory" code which erases the stored barcodes)
